THE LAST SAMURAI

This movie is about an Army Captain named Nathan Aurbury that fights with the Japanese Army, but he gets captured by the samurai. Tom Cruise's character meets Ken Watanabe's character after he is confronted. He gains trust as he saves Ken's character and becomes a part of the clan. I prefer not to give the story away.

Overall, this movie was one that was great. it might even win best picture.

GOTHIKA

The movie starts off where DR. Miranda Gray (Halle Berry)is giving a patient some threapy and her patient tells her something important that happened before. After that it rains and Miranda drives home but encounters a dillusion of a girl on the road, crashes the car and sees fire then wakes up knowing nothing of what happened. I stop there since i dont want to give the story away.

I thought it was a great movie by Halle. She does a great job in the movie.

MASTER AND COMMANDER

The movie is set mostly on the ocean. The time it takes place is in 1800s. Russell Crowe is the captain of the ship, Jack. Jack is on a mission from his commander, which is to fight the french. He is a british naval captain that commands a crew and their job is to take the french naval ships down. They encounter a ship and try to take it down, but they fail. Jack orders them to repair the ship and try again. Later in the movie, The british crew disguise themselves as whalers so the french think they are harmless, this is all a plan. The British fight hard as they take over the french's ship. A few men die as they set for home.

I seriously thought this was another astounding russell crowe film, but i dont like gladiator more from his performance in it.

ELF

This movie is about a baby that accidently gets into the elf world and is raised by elves. People see him age faster than the elves do, but that doesn't matter. He is curious of who his real dad is, so he sets forth a journey to find him. Buddy encounters many obsticles inorder to finally see his dad. His dad does not believe it is his son, until he meantions his mother's name. I prefer not to give the whole story away.

Overall, I thought it was a very funny movie and will was a good guy to be chosen for it.

MATRIX REVOLUTIONS

The movie is set where Neo ends up between the machine world and matrix. Neo is not plugged into the matrix also. He has to get back to the matrix to be the only hope everyone has. Trinity, Morpheus and Seraph meet up with the frenchman and battle at his club to get Neo back to the matrix. Neo returns and meets with the oracle to find ansers. Agent Smith later meets up with the oracle and takes over her body by chaging into a copy of himself. Neo goes back into the matrix after he confronts the machine lord that he can beat agent smith. Neo saves the world after a long battle from him being copied and the machines destroy him to save the world.

I personally loved this movie over Matrix reloaded because it built the story up very well and the movie stays into proportion.

Scary Movie 3

The movie does teasers of signs, the ring and the matrix. Some other small things are in part.

I presonally didnt enjoy the movie that much, but the movie did have some hilarious parts to it.

Intollerable Cruelty

This movie is based on a lawyer learning about love and tries to get to Catherine Zeta-Jones. He is given a case against her husaband where he wins the case for him , but a pre-numb is non existant, so she married billy bob thorten to get a pre-numb. She later finds out she is rich because her ex-husband dies and actually did have a pre-numb for her. She inherited a lot of money after she married George Clooney (the lawyer,Miles). She did rip the pre-numb up and tried to fight it, but she ripped it up in front of her laywer. The movie ends where they stay married.

I personally thought this movie was an alright movie if you are into love movies.

School of Rock

I did think this was more of a family film, but a great one.

Kill Bill vol.1

This movie starts off where Uma Thurman goes into the past of what happened a few years ago. She first is beaten by a gang. She is then set in a hospital, where this sick hospital lets any guy have intercourse with the patients while they are in a coma, but Uma Thurman doesn't let the guy do anything much. She beats him up and gets the guy that tried to force intercourse. Uma takes the hospital worker's truck and goes to her first victim and takes her out right infront of her little daughter. She then leaves and gets to Lucy Liu. She first has a fight a group of Lucy's henchmen. Uma takes care of all of them and this part is the bloodiest parts of the movie. Uma then fights Lucy and wins after Lucy took her shots at Uma. Uma shaves Lucy pretty good so you can see her brain. The movie ends as this for now as Volume 2 comes out soon.

I personally thought it was an interesting movie and loved it a bit. I didn't think it was gory, but slightly bloody.

Runaway Jury

This movie is all about a jury that is ran by John Cusack. John orders the 2 laywers to bribe him inorder to win the guns case on their part for the majority of votes.

I personally liked this movie because it kept you thinking is John really serious about buying the jury.

The Rundown

This movie is about a bounty hunter, duwayne johnson, getting his boss's son back, but inorder to get his son back, he will have to beat the slave master up to get him back. Sean William Scott is the son and he tries to escape many times, but he is finally brought back to the US to his dad's place. He gets beat a little and they give everyone that strange fruit they found that makes people sleepy and weak.

I thought this was a funny movie and a keeper.

Underworld

This movie is about vampires and warewolves that have always fought against each other. Kate, the main character, finds a boy that has a strange intimination. She keeps the boy secret, until Lucian finds out he is in the house. She runs away from home and returns, only to wake victor up from the dead because he is needed because of the battle they are about to take part in. Kate later finds out her family was killed by victor and takes care of him. Underworld 2 is due out and will be continueing on the next vampire that is brought back.

I loved this move because it was so filled with action and not one of those boring types.
